Grades of steel produced in HSW – Huta Stali Jakościowych S.A.

HSW - Huta Stali Jakościowych S.A. manufactures more than 600 different grades of quality steels consistent with requirements of commonly known world standards (EN; DIN ; ASTM ; BS ; UNI; SAE; PN etc) and individual specifications of the clients including:

 - carburizing steels

- steels with regulated sulphur content

- steels for toughening and surface hardening

- steels for micro additions of boron; vanadium, nitrogen, niobium

- spring steels

- carbon and alloy tool steels

- bearing steels

- stainless steels (austenitic, ferrous, martensitic)

-  steels intended for armaments industry (including steels for armour plates)

 

HSW - Huta Stali Jakościowych S.A. guarantees obtaining high quality of the produced steels characterized by:

 - high purity level of steel (including low content of hydrogen and oxygen)

- regulated hardenability band

- increased level of machinability for steels with regulated sulphur content allowing to improve machining parameters and to reduce wear of cutting tools,

- fine-granularity allowing to improve mechanical and utilization properties (including high impact resistance level in lowered temperatures)
