At present, HSW-Huta Stali Jakościowych Spółka Akcyjna, created as a result of a number of organizational and proprietary transformations, is a part of capital group Złomrex and continues almost 70-year tradition of production of quality steel and rolled products in Stalowa Wola.
We would like to assure you of our ability to meet your expectations in the way guaranteeing full satisfaction. Our activity is based on Quality Management System consistent with ISO 9001:2000 standard, implemented and subjected to regular assessment.
Currently, our production program includes manufacturing of broad scope of metallurgical products:
- round rolled rods in size Ø55 - Ø120mm
- peeled bars in size Ø50 - Ø115mm
- rolled billets in size 50 -130mm including ground ones
- hot-rolled metal sheets in thickness from 2.0 to
- cinders from constructional steels from own (up to 30mm) and entrusted (up to 200mm) materials
- classical ingots (forge ones and intended for rolling ones) as well as slabs cast on continuous caster.
Our products are made of broad quality range of steels and find application in many industrial branches, such as: car industry, metallurgy, mining, railway engineering, aviation, electrical machines industry, heavy machines industry.
Our quality steel assortment includes:
- steels with increased and regulated sulphur content, characterized by increased machinability,
- steels for armour plates and for production of artillery equipment.
- fine-grained alloy steels for carburizing, toughening and surface hardening with micro-additions of boron, vanadium, titanium, nitrogen, niobium, characterized by regulated (narrowed) hardenability band, low level of non-metallic inclusions and low content of oxygen and hydrogen, intended for production of elements resistant to abrasion, specially loaded, operating in lowered temperatures,
- corrosion-resisting steels, including:
- austenitic Cr-Ni. Cr-Ni-Ti, Cr-Ni-Mo-Ti. Cr-Ni-Si.
- ferrous (stainless and heat-resisting) of chromium content up to 25% and titanium or aluminium and silicon admixtures,
- carbon and alloy tool-steels intended to be cold used and also in increased temperatures,
- spring steels,
- steel with bearing purity (quality)
High quality of our products is confirmed by numerous certificates and acknowledgements of leading classifying associations, such as: Office of Technical Inspection, Polish Register of Shipping, Quality Testing Centre ZETOM, Det Norske Veritas, Lloyds Register of Shipping, TUV and others.
